The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) Lahore, Branch Council organised Honours' Convocation for the qualified Cost & Management Accountants on December 8 at convention Hall, Lahore International Expo Centre. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was the chief guest at the occasion, who addressing the students expressed the need for achieving excellence in respective area of interest and learning through hard work and personal efforts.
He spoke of the responsibility, "which we all owe as citizens of this country towards Pakistan and feeling of pride and contributing towards your country." ICMAP President Zia Mustafa Awan declared the convocation opening, and congratulated the Lahore Campus and Faculty for successful arrangement of events. While speaking to the students, he stressed the need of understanding their strengths and to make all out efforts to grasp maximum opportunities by putting best efforts.
Function was well attended by qualified students, their families, faculty, media and dignitaries. Degrees were awarded to all qualified CMA's. The ceremony ended with a note of thanks and a commitment to work for the larger interest of the country.-PR
