A privilege motion and few adjournment motions were presented in the Punjab Assembly on Wednesday. 'The Punjab Public Service Commission (Second Amendment Bill', 'The Punjab Boilers and Pressure Vessel (Amendment) Bill 2012' and 'The Lahore Garrison University Bill 2012' along with 'Report on Financial Statement of the Government of the Punjab' were not put before the House.
During the session, an adjournment motion by Khadeeja Umar regarding illegal constructions was put off. Another adjournment motion by Chaudhry Zaheer-u-Din regarding tenants of Ayub Research Centre, Faisalabad, was also postponed for a week. A motion by MPA Muhammad Abbas regarding Wapda was also put off. Answering queries, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that it was true that federal government had offices in certain residential areas in Lahore. The Minister said that the residences were allotted to DGM Officers in GOR 1, 11 and 111.
