Sindh government is spending Rs 8.5 billion on the installation of 225 water filtration plants for providing pure drinking water to the people of nine districts of the province. Talking to Radio Pakistan, a spokesman of Sindh government said that under the programme potable drinking water will be provided to these districts through Reverse Osmosis plants, Ultra Filtration plant and desalination plants in three phases.
