At least nine persons including policemen were injured when unknown motorcyclists hurled hand grenade at Khawaja Ajmernagri police headquarter here on Sunday Police said that unknown miscreants riding motorcycles hurled hand grenade at people standing outside Khawaja Ajmernagri police headquarter and fled.
SHO Chauhdary Afzal said that a large number of people were standing in queue for recruitment in police department outside the police headquarter, when suddenly unknown men appeared and hurled grenade and fled, leaving nine people injured. The injured were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors stated the conditions of injured stable. Following the blast heavy contingent of law enforcers rushed to the spot and cordoned off the entire area.
