On the direction of Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi, Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) administration has issued orders to all circles heads, sub-divisional in-charges and staff to ensure uninterrupted power supply on the eve of Quaid-e-Azam birth anniversary and Charismas.
According to an official, Major Urengzaib Soherwardi (Retd) all the feeders supplying electricity to the churches will be exempted from power load shedding and places having ceremonies regarding Charismas and Quaid-e-Azam would also be exempted from power load management.
He said that all the concerned staff as well as officers will remain present on duty and also carry out all type of maintenance so that respected Christian Community can celebrate this holy day with complete reverence. He further said that all the Costumer Services Centers staff has also been directed to remain present for prompt service.
