Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has made it clear that no extra-Constitutional step will be tolerated and only a political president is requirement of the Constitution. He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of local Press Council at Renala Khurd.
The minister rejected the deadline given by the head of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran‚ Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri for bringing so-called political reforms and said the PPP-led government will not allow the inclusion of judiciary and army in the interim set-up‚ as suggested by him. Addressing the ceremony‚ the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting‚ Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari said that Pakistan Peoples Party is moving ahead successfully under the dynamic leadership of Co-Chairman President Asif Ali Zardari.
