Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that his party's government would get rid of the "begging bowl" and it would also not bow to the US dictates as is the case with the Asif Zardari's government. Rather, he added, the PTI government would establish good working relationship with all the US and other states of the world community based on mutual respect.
He made these remarks while addressing different public meetings held here at Chakrala, Musa Kahel, Swans, etc. Imran Khan was critical of the PPP government's apologetic foreign policy. He said that the Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are one and they are mocking fighting each other just to mislead the nation. He said that the PTI would eliminate the prevailing unjust interest-based political system, wherein the common people have very limited access to the corridors of power.
Imran Khan told the masses that they must be aware of the fact that both President Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are enjoying cordial relation just like brothers and they would together contest the upcoming election against the PTI but both would face humiliating defeat as the nation has already decided to vote for PTI in the upcoming elections.
"Both Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are in habit of winning the elections with the support of umpires but they can't play under neutral umpires. Both the parties can bring no change and they are just raising the slogan of change while copying the PTI's slogan. We would defeat both the parties who are supporting status quo," he added. Imran Khan said that Asghar Khan case verdict has proved that Sharifs are the product of the ISI and even Nawaz, Shahbaz have received money from the ISI operatives.
Imran Khan warned Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to shun victimising the PTI leaders. "Sharifs want to buy loyalties of all politicians who enjoy strong backing of the PTI voters. The recent incident of vindictive action against former Speaker National Assembly and PTI leader Chaudhry Amir Hussain is condemnable. Those involved in this malicious act, whether bureaucrats or politicians, would have to face worst consequences," he warned.
He said that Shahbaz Sharif is also not handing over the land purchased by PTI for Namal University, Mianwali, despite the fact that he has paid the price. "Shahbaz is ready to go to any extent for victimising his opponents. But then youth should be aware of this fact and the PML-N would face the wrath of the youth in elections," he added.
The PTI Chairman reiterated his resolve that the PTI's tsunami would bring a change in Pakistan and it would transform Pakistan into a vibrant state. He said that times of the corrupt political systems are over and there would be no misuse of police and courts to win elections in future.
Imran Khan said that no one could stop PTI's revolution and a change has to take place. He warned the tax evaders and corrupt politicians would have to face the justice when PTI came into power. Blasting the Federal and provincial governments for ignoring the plight of the farming community, Khan said that like Balochistan, Mianwali's farmers should be granted power connections for tube wells on subsidised rates.
He said that ten years back, the then president General Pervez Musharraf(Retd) had offered him a ministry but he had turned down his offer in the best public interest. He said that change cannot take place in the country by only electing him and rather, the youth should vote in all the PTI candidates from across country to ensure a revolution.
He said that his government would tax the 70 percent tax-evading lawmakers who are transferring their wealth abroad by money-laundering as they are enjoying luxuries on the expense of the poor masses. He vowed that the PTI would deal with the tax-evaders with iron hands to change the fortune of the masses. He went on saying that PTI would introduce a new local government system, which would help eliminate the sense of deprivation of unprivileged class, and there would be no class difference and justice would be for everyone.-PR
