Leader of Businessmen Forum, Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour said that the ANP slain leader and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour gave his life for establishment of peace and against terrorism, which is common threat to the entire world.
Addressing at a condolence reference to pay homage to services of Bashir Ahmad Bilour organised by Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) here at the Chamber House on Friday. The Women Chamber President, Nuzhat Rauf, Vice President Shumama Arbab, the Chamber Chairperson, Fitrat Ilyas Bilour, the President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Dr Mohammad Yousaf Sarwar and sons of Bashir Bilour, Usman Ahmad Bilour and executive members of Women Chamber were present.
Senator Ilyas Bilour said his younger brother; Bashir Bilour was a brave and steadfast political leader, adding that his assassination is not only built the image of Pakistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, but also a great honour for Bilour's family. He informed that Bashir Bilour mission was to promote higher education among female in the province.
"The blood of Bashir Ahmad Bilour and ANP workers will not go in vain, as his brother was peace ambassador, known all over the world", he attributed. He added Bashir Bilour desired to promote female education and provision of basic right of women in the society. His (Bilour) services remain exceptional in this regard, he maintained.
The President Women Chamber, Nuzhat Rauf while speaking at the reference paid glowing tribute to services of Bashir Ahmad Bilour for people of the country. She termed that his death is a colossal loss for the Bilour family. Ms Rauf said that Bashir Bilour's services for women economic empowerment remain incredible. "There's no doubt, he (Bilour) was a brave political leader, who gave his life for common cause", she maintained. She added the vacuum was created after the death of Bashir Bilour, will take long to repair it. She said Bashir Bilour will remain alive in the hearts of the people.
Usman Bilour, the younger son of Bashir Bilour in his address said that his father's mission was peace and stability of the country, who gave his life for common cause of establishment of lasting calm and elimination of terrorism from this region. SCCI President, Dr Yousaf Sarwar also paid glowing tribute to services of ANP slain leader Bashir Bilour and termed his death is a great pride for the Bilour family and a good message for the survival of the country.
