QUETTA: Unknown armed men shot dead a police surgeon Dr Baqir Shah here at Sabzal Road, DIG Investigation Nazir Ahmad Kurd told media persons on Thursday.
According to the hospital sources Dr Baqir Shah was on his way home along with his cousin when unidentified armed motorbike riders intercepted and opened fire at them.
As a result Dr Baqir Shah died on the spot while his cousin sustained serious bullet injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Dr Baqir Shah was part of the probe team which investigated the Khrotabad incident.
