Pursuant to the directions of Chief Minister Punjab, the process of distribution of 'Khadim-e-Aala Relief Card' worth Rs 20,000 among 22,500 flood affected families of Tehsil Rojhan has been initiated and the exercise would be completed within two weeks.
Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Mujahid Sherdil said here on Monday that so far, Rs 40 million have been distributed among 2,200 families.
Giving details, Mujahid Sherdil said that, earlier, Rs 25.6 million were distributed as relief fund among 4,380 flood affected families in Rajanpur, 5,725 in DG Khan and 2,711 in Jampur have been distributed.
