Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Haider Khan Hoti said on Saturday that the demand for reconstitution of Election Commission was bid to delay elections in the country. He stressed that there was no need to create any controversy against the formation of the Election Commission. He said that the demand for reconstitution of the Election Commission would create impediments and hurdles before holding of elections in the country.
KP Chief Minister said that the Chief Election Commission of Pakistan had appointed with formal consultation of both leaders from treasury and opposition. The CEC Fakhrudin G Ebrahim is efficiently performing his duties, Hoti said while replying to the questions of media persons about reconstitution of EC here in district Mardan.
