President PPP Punjab Manzoor Wattoo said on Tuesday that Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar would be election candidate of the PPP from Gujrat. Addressing a press conference after party meeting in the city, Wattoo said Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has the capability of winning from Gujrat. Further, he said, the Q League candidates would be comfortable in gaining votes if they contest on the election symbol of the PPP.
He said both the parties have agreed to grant party tickets to the winners of last election. Decision about the candidates from the constituency where the PML-N won would be taken soon, he added.
