Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf's Provincial leaders have termed the ANP-convened All Parties Conference as a futile exercise, adding Pakhtuns leaders didn't work on ground for establishment of peace during last five years of their rule.
Speaking at a press conference, PTI President, district Peshawar, Yaseen Khalil, and a tribal leader Iqbal Afridi criticised that the Pakhtuns leaders just misleading masses by taking such unproductive step, but failed to make serious efforts during last five years for establishment of peace in this region. They said the declaration of ANP-sponsored APC would not yield any positive results as similar step in shape of joint parliament resolution adopted on this issue, not properly implemented yet.
On the occasion, activist of Pakistan Muslim League-Qaid, and former APA, Tehsil Bara Khyber Agency, Shah Hussain Afridi along with family members and relatives announced to join PTI. While speaking on the occasion, Hussain Afridi said he took decision after depressing from the poor performance of incumbent rulers, adding the country needed an honest and dedicated leadership to steer the country out from present crisis situation.
He further criticised that the incumbent government was completely failed to ease the miseries of masses during last five years. He said the PTI was only hope for 180 million people, who wanted to bring real change through democratic process in the country.
Iqbal Afridi, a PTI tribal leader said the country was being faced by numerous internal and external challenges due to wrong policies of the incumbent rulers. The situation was getting from bad to worst in each passing day, he added. He said the holding of free and fair election was only solution of the issues. Welcoming the joining of Shah Hussain in PTI, he said the activists of different political parties were joining PTI due to poor performance of the incumbent rulers, and urged the party would be strengthened after joining of stalwarts from different political parties.
