Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) Peshawar arranged an 8-day long skill workshop on "Cutting and Stitching) for training aspiring designers, present, potential entrepreneurs and students to pursue their career in the fashion designing industry.
The centre is providing the training through a certified professional in relevant field with an extensive experience of running a tailoring institute for the last 12 years. The training has been divided into four levels depending on the nature and complexity of the art of cutting and stitching. Each level is then spread through two day tenure to ensure the effective learning. Since majority of the beneficiaries are free on the weekends, this workshop is designed to be delivered on the weekends only.
Started from February 16, the first two levels have been successfully implemented at the display hall of WBDC. A total of 15 participants have benefited from these sessions so far. The participants have shown great level of satisfaction towards the workshop. Certificates will also be distributed at the closing ceremony of the workshop.
