Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) has invited medical researchers to despatch abstracts of their research work for its Golden Jubilee Medical Symposium, scheduled to be held from April 15 to 21. Chairperson Scientific Committee of the symposium Professor Muhammad Iqbal Afridi, sharing details of the moot on Sunday said its theme will be "A Continuous Pledge to Serve."
JPMC's 50th annual symposium marks 50 years of academic progress and research which has made Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre one of the leading institutions nation-wide, he said. The material for abstracts-e-posters, he said must be approximately of 250 words and must be sent via E-mail, including corresponding address and telephone/ cell number to [email protected] by March 30. These abstracts can also be submitted at Symposium Secretariat through USB Flash or CD. No hard copy will be accepted.
The presenting AUTHOR should be underlined and the text must be subdivided into: Introduction, Material & Methods, Results, Conclusions.
Dr Afridi said for free paper and e-poster presentation, preference will be given to original study instead of case reports. He said pre-symposium workshops will be held by every department, which will be a healthy and thoroughly interactive event led by distinguished professionals in their respective fields.
