PPP ticket-holder from PP-204 Shujaabad, Khurram Khan Khakwani, Naib Tehsil Nazim Vehari Amir Khan Khakwani, and former MPA from Vehari Zargham Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town and reposed confidence in the leadership of President Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and joined PML-N unconditionally.
Welcoming the PPP leaders in PML-N, Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N is the most popular party of the country and its popularity increasing day-by-day. He said that PML-N is the only political party which could steer the country out of crisis. He said that Punjab government has taken various measures for the welfare of the people and it has come up to the expectations of the masses.
He said that respect and dignity of the new entrants into the party will be ensured and they would be taken along in the service of the masses. He said that PPP is facing political isolation due to wrong policies of 'Zardari gang' and the incompetent rulers have pushed the country into darkness and quagmire of problems. The new entrants into PML-N strongly criticised anti-people polices of PPP and said that PPP government has done nothing for the betterment of the masses and that is why PPP leaders and workers are fed up with their inefficient leadership.
