Rain forecast in upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir today

The meteorological department has forecast scattered rain-thunderstorm in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, KP Upper Punjab (Islamabad Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions).Whereas dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. It said scattered thunderstorm/ rain is expected over Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Malakand, Hazara, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Lahore divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
A few thunder/rain may also occur over Zhob, Larkana and Sukkar divisions. During the period hailstorm may also occur at one or two places In its daily weather forecast, Met office said that a westerly wave is affecting Upper parts of the country and likely to move eastwards during next 12-18 hours. It said scattered rain-thunderstorm occurred in KP Upper and Central Punjab Sukkur, Larkana divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Met office recorded rain as under:
