The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) issued education vouchers to 140,000 deserving male and female students to help them study free of cost in schools of their choice up to Matric level in Punjab. Chairman Punjab Education Foundation, Raja Anwar, stated this while addressing the prize-distribution ceremony of an EVS partner school in Sukhnehr Lahore on Thursday.
Addressing the function, Raja Anwar said that education vouchers are a symbol of bright future of poor children who have no resources to go to schools on their own. This scheme has helped the poorest out of schoolchildren to join educational institutions for studies. Now, PEF has laid the foundation of a prosperous and educated Pakistan through its beneficial educational interventions, he added.
