Lean business witnessed on grain market

Prices tended higher on the wholesale grain market on Friday in the process of subdued activity, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 3450 and the best variety picked up Rs 25 to Rs 3475, other items maintained overnight levels in the process of trading, they said.
On the seeds sector, low type was unchanged at Rs 600 while the best type rose by Rs 60 to Rs 800, other items managed to sustain overnight levels during the day, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and cereals side, they added.
