Chairmanship of the Director General of PSQCA Pir Bakhsh Jamali held meeting with the delegation of Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) at Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) Head Office, Karachi. The delegation headed by Abbdul Waheed Khan, Director General, Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association.
They discussed about the National Standards Committee (NSC) meeting which was held at Lahore and showed their concern about the reconstitution of NSC and minutes of the NSC meeting. They also discussed about the difficulties on standardisation work of Automobile Division of SDC/PSQCA which was shifted at Lahore. The delegation suggested that the marking fee should be fixed on yearly basis.
The Director General, PSQCA considered the automotive industries concern/suggestion of PAMA delegation and order to null and vide the decision about the meeting of NSC which was held at Lahore and also ordered to shift the Automobile Division from Lahore to Karachi along with all the relevant records. The Director General, PSQCA also advised the PAMA delegation to submit their suggestions about the marking fee.
