Rs 3.8 million looted from bank

At least six unidentified armed robbers with the connivance of security guard looted Rs 3.8 million from a private bank branch here on Tuesday. According to SHO Akhtar Abbas, six armed robbers entered in a bank situated at Block-A, Golden Street in the limits of North Nazimabad police station.
He said the armed robbers completed their operation within minutes and later escaped from the scene with a bagful of Rs 3.8 million. He said the involvement of security guard Kashif was confirmed and police had registered a case 70/13 against six robbers and a security guard. Further investigation was underway to nab the culprits.
