Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Karamatullah Khan said that despite difficult situation all the political and religious parties ensured continuity of democratic process in the province. Talking to Radio Pakistan, he termed the performance of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly exemplary during the past 5 years. He said that the provincial assembly made significant legislation during its tenure.
He said that for the first time in history of the country, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa assembly was honoured that a President addressed it. He said that the provincial assembly passed 97 bills, 302 resolutions and 10 ordinances whereas 79 Adjournment Motions and 245 Call Attention Notices were also disposed of during the past 5 years.
