President Asif Ali Zardari on the advice of the Prime Minister has approved the appointment of the seven Additional Judges of Peshawar High Court for a period of one year. Those who have been appointed Additional Judges of Peshawar High Court included Syed Afsar shah, Lal Jan Khattak, Ikramullah Khan, Abid Latif Khan, Muhammad Daud Khan, Ms Musarrat Hilali and Malik Manzoor Hussain.
The summary received by the President House from the Prime Minister, stated that the Judicial Commission of Pakistan had forwarded these nominations to the Parliamentary Committee on Judges. Appointment in the Superior Courts which unanimously agreed with the nominations and requested the Prime Minister to advise the President for his approval to these appointments. Accordingly, acting upon the advice of the Prime Minister, the President on Saturday approved the appointment of Syed Afsar Shah, Lal Jan Khattak, Ikramullah Khan, Abid Latif Khan, Muhammad Daud Khan, Ms Musarrat Hilali and Malik Manzoor Hussain as Additional Judges of Peshawar High Court for a period of one year.
