The nine-member caretaker cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was sworn in by Governor Shaukatullah Khan on Sunday at the Governor's House. Those who took oath included Fayyaz Ahmad Toru, Yunas Khan Marwat, Samin Jan Babar, Omar Farooq, Abdul Rauf Khattak, Mussarat Qadeem, Jehangir Khan, General Farrukh (senior) (Retd) and Ishaq Khattak.
Caretaker Chief Minister former Justice Tariq Pervez also attended the ceremony, which was attended, among others, by Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Kiramullah Khan, Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar and Provincial Police Officer (PPO) Akbar Khan Hoti. The portfolios of the ministers would be announced later.
More ministers are likely to be inducted in the second phase of the cabinet's expansion.
