The Parliamentary Committee, formed to nominate caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, was unable to reach a consensus in its meeting held here on Sunday. Pakistan People's Party was asked to propose new names instead of former justice Zahid Hussain and journalist Najam Sethi. The Committee decided to take legal opinion from experts in this regard.
The meeting was chaired by former law minister Rana Sanaullah and attended by Ch Zaheer-u-Din, Shaukat Basra, Zulifqar Gondal, Iqbal Channar and Mujtiba Shujaa-u-Rehman. The Committee would meet again at 11:00 am on Monday (today).
