As many as 800 Jewish among 2.8 million registered minority voters will cast their vote in Pakistan's general election scheduled to be held on May 11 this year. The fresh statistics released by the Election Commission of Pakistan show that over 86.1 million voters including 48.5 million men and 37.5 million women had been registered in the country. In 15 districts of the country, the minority non-Muslim voters will play decisive role in the elections.
Around 49 percent voters in Sindh's Umer Kot and 46 percent in Tharparker district are non-Muslim. Among the registered minority voters, Hindus have a majority with around 1.44 million voters and Christians are at second place with around 1.238 million voters while around 1.015 million Ahmadis will also cast their votes. The country also have 5,934 Sikhs, 3,650 Parsis and 1,452 Buddhist registered voters. The ECP statistics show that 800 Jewish voters, 427 women and 382 men, are also registered in the country who will cast their votes.
