Judges urged to dispense justice without fear

Justice Sh. Najamul Hassan of the Lahore High Court has said that prime duty of the judges is to dispense justice without fear or ill will as per law and constitution. He was addressing at the concluding ceremony of a capacity building course at Punjab Judicial Academy.
Justice Najam said that district judiciary enjoys a pivotal role in the system of justice of the country. It is dire need that judicial officers should discharge their onerous obligations with utmost care and responsibility. Out going Director General of the academy former Justice Tanvir Ahmad Khan highlighted the achievements of the institution and hoped that the academy will further progress with the induction of former Justice Jamshed Ali Shah, who carries a rich experience.
