Jamshed Dasti, the former MNA, on Friday filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC), challenging his disqualification and fine in fake degree case. A district and session court on Thursday disqualified Dasti from contesting election for life time sentenced him three years imprisonment and Rs 5,000 fine for possessing fake degree.
However, Dasti through his lawyer has now filed an appeal in the Multan bench of the LHC. His counsel said that the division bench would hear the case on April 8.
