The first J A Zaman Golf Tournament has been started here at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course on Saturday after an inaugural tee shot hit by the 95-year old golfer of Lahore Gymkhana, J A Zaman. Zaman has been playing golf for the past five decades and is simultaneously considered an icon of the world of apparel, known by the name of Leisure Club. The moment of inauguration was emotional indeed as he was watched by his wife, his son Hamid Zamid Zaman, grand children and golfing mates of the past.
At the conclusion of the championship on Sunday, the prize distribution will be held at 4:30pm at Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course.
