A bomb blast occurred in Phase-1 in Hayatabad Sector-1 outside the house of Nasir Afridi, an ex-senator from Khyber Agency, in the early hours of Monday. According to reports, the blast damaged the gate of the house while windows of some nearby homes were broken. However, no casualty was reported. Police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and started investigation.
