Last year, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan broke the internet when pictures of them smoking cigarette together in New York went viral. Flash forward to this year, the duo was reportedly in London recently but the alleged pair surprisingly didn’t care to meet one another.

Seeing the backlash Mahira received post the release of the pictures, the Pakistani-Indian duo will probably avoid any situation that could bring about the same kind of controversy, including a casual catch up after a year.

Ranbir Kapoor controversy made Mahira Khan ‘feel violated’

It was reported that Mahira and Ranbir were in London at the same time and that they might have arranged a secret meet up in this period. However, contrary to the reports, Pink Villa is now suggesting that even though the duo was in London simultaneously, they never met each other.

The ‘Raees’ actress recently talked about the incident in an interview with BBC and revealed how the situation affected her. "That was the first time in my entire career that I was caught up in a so-called controversy and it was strange because there were so many things in that. One, obviously you feel violated, you are in a personal down time moment and someone has just photographed you," he said.
