National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) clinched first position in WAPDA annual Table Tennis competitions, held at Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex. The event was organised by Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), where players from all over the country participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and represented Distribution Companies (DISCOs) of power sector.
The players of NTDCL outclassed their opponents and won both men and women single and double competition with huge margins It is pertinent to note that in a given situation of the country, NTDCL is providing best possible opportunities to its employees (young boys and girls) from all over the country to take part in healthy and other sports activities: Consequently, achieving high standards both in national and international sports events.
The spokesman highlighted the interest of NTDCL officers in sports events and said that Deputy Manager Finance Masood Anjum and Deputy Manager Design Sharjeel showed outstanding performance and also won officers' events of the competition. Later Chief Guest on the occasion, Director General (MIS) IESCO Khalid Masood presented the trophy to the table tennis team of NTDCL.
