Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Dr Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, called on Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso at the Prime Minister's House Tuesday. During the meeting, Dr Shahid briefed the Prime Minister on his recent visit to the United States where he had gone to attend the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund.
Dr Shahid Amjad also apprised the Prime Minister about his meetings with heads of international financial institutions and delegations, on the sidelines. The Prime Minister expressed the confidence that the economic team led by the Advisor would be able to overcome the economic challenges faced by the country.
