A two-day international conference on 'Pharmaceutical Toxicology' concluded at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore on Friday. The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the UVAS organised the conference in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission Islamabad and Department of Clinical Neuroscience, University of Cambridge, UK.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding session of the conference and appreciated the organisers for arranging the conference on such an important topic. He also urged the organisers to include researchers and teachers from other universities/institutions in the next year conference and bring more innovation in it.
Dean Faculty of Biosciences Professor Dr Muhammad Ashraf and Dr Sohail Ijaz from the Cambridge University UK also spoke on the occasion. While University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) will observe World Veterinary Day on April 27. On world veterinary day UVAS will organise multiple events such as awareness walk at UVAS campus, set up free rabies vaccination camp at UVAS pet center and grand poster competition at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) conference Hall.
