Slow trading was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of slow business, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada drifted lower by Rs 100 to Rs 7400-7500, other commodities showed no change due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 sindh low type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3500 and the good variety was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3600, they said. On the seeds front, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 400 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 600, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) were inert at Rs 1000-1200, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
