The mobile service would remain open and not suspended in any city of the country on election day on Saturday. The Ministry of Interior has not taken any decision so far regarding closure of mobile service in any part of the country, said a spokesman of the Ministry of Interior while talking to APP on Friday.
However, in case of any emergency or extraordinary situation, to maintain law and order, the ministry may suspend this service in specific constituency, he added. He contradicted the news appearing in some TV channels that the mobile service would remain closed in some areas of Sindh on Saturday.
