HP China team recently conducted a benchmark with Poulson SD2 for one of the key FSI customers, in collaboration with regional and WW resources. The benchmark was conducted with the customer's full solution stack (database, application & workload generator) over a period of 1.5 months.
The team achieved 130 percent overall performance's improvement over Tukwila SD2, as a result of Poulson technology advancement, infra, DB and application optimisation and tuning. What's impressive with this performance result is the 2.3x performance per core improvement with Poulson SD2 over Tukwila SD2.
