The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is holding second Africa Show on Saturday (tomorrow) at its premises. The one-day Africa Show will also have an exhibition in its fold. The ambassadors and high commissioners of all the African countries will take part in this mega event that would start with a conference.
There would be two sessions of Conference on African countries. First session is likely to be chaired by Senator Ishaq Dar while the second session is likely to be graced by Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi. The prime objective of the Africa Show and catalogue exhibition is to provide new business avenues and establish meaningful partnership and joint ventures for enhancement of business and trade between Pakistan and African countries.
At the conference, the ambassadors and high commissioners of the African countries working in Pakistan would be presenting their papers on business opportunities in their respective country and scope for Pakistani businessmen. The LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar said that the Africa Show is unique in the sense that the ambassadors and high commissioners would be directly interacting with the business community. He said the LCCI is of the strong hope that the Africa Show would give considerable boost to the Pakistan's trade with African countries.
