Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf on Tuesday said that respect of judiciary was prime in any case and he would consult the legal experts before responding to the court orders of restraining him from performing as Chairman PCB.
He was reacting to the decision of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) which restrained Zaka Ashraf from working as PCB Chairman, on a petition filed by former coach of the Army cricket team, Major Ahmed Nadeem (Retd) challenging the appointment of Ashraf in the recent PCB elections. Zaka told Business Recorder that future course of action would be taken after consultation with the legal experts as per rules and regulations.
