District Quality Control Board has on Wednesday sent cases against 31 medical stores for selling spurious drugs to the court for further prosecution. In this connection, an important meeting of District Quality Control Board was held, disclosed an official. The meeting was chaired by District Officer Monitoring and Inquiries Amin Akbar Chopra. The Board was briefed about 42 cases of different medical stores, involved in illegal activities.
It decided to send 31 cases of medical stores to the court for further prosecution while warning was issued to three medical stores' owners.
