Ambassador of Sudan Al Shafie Ahmed Mohamed along with a delegation visited the Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro (LUMHS), to initiate "Academic linkages & community outreach program". The Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Masoor Alam Shah expressed that the Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro has already initiated an "Academic linkages & community outreach program with Universities Sains Malaysia and Sifa and Gediz University Turkey.
The Universities desire to engage in co-operative educational & research activities with the object to recognise the mutual scientific, and medical technical co-operation with advancing the state of science, medical and technology in order to strengthen the scientific infrastructure and to bring benefits to both sides.
The delegation visited the various departments of the University and the "Tibri International" Hostel specifically established for the foreign students only. Later the delegation had an interaction session with the Sudan's student admitted in MBBS & BDS courses at LUMHS.
