The maintenance team of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has successfully completed 95 percent maintenance work at Clifton Grid Station, where fire broke out on Saturday affecting power supply from the station.
On Saturday, fire was broke out at Clifton Grid Station, which damaged three transformers, subsequently affecting electricity supply from 27 feeders of the station.
Soon after the incident, KESC maintenance and operation teams rushed to the site and started maintenance work. After hectic efforts, the teams restored electricity supply from 24 feeders while power supply from the remaining three feeders would be restored tonight.-PR
