He along with the army officers Colonel Kaleem Kareem, Major Shahid Iqbal, Captain Amir Hayat, SDO Irrigation, Imtiyaz Morai and other officers visited Udero Lal Scape, Jakhri Dhoro, Matiari Loop, Baao Dero Dhoro, Sekhat, Khyber Dhoro, Kalyan, Khanoth Dhoro, Bhanoth Dhoro, Hala Spur, Old Fatehpur, New Fatehpur and Saeed Abad Old to inspect the on-going embankments strengthening work and expressed his satisfaction over the pace and quality of work.
During the visit, Fayaz Abbasi directed the revenue officers to conduct the survey of the population living inside the river and also to envisage relief and rescue plan for these people in case of flash flood in the river. He said that in case of any eventuality of heavy rainfall and flash flood, all arrangements for rescue and relief to these people of affected areas would be made.
