Veteran Test all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has blamed the suspended chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf for his ouster from the national team. He (Zaka) doesn't liked me and instructed the captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Hafeez, coach Whatmore and selectors not to consider me in Pakistan team, he alleged him while talking on private channel on Saturday Night.
I had given my best to Pakistan with bat and ball and wanted to serve the team. But certain lobby was against me, 33-year-old Razzaq, who mustered 5080 runs and taken 284 wickets in 265 One-Day Internationals, commented.
Abdur Razzaq said being a part of the team for 15 years, he understand what is happening in around the team and who is playing role what role.
He said captains like Hafeez and Misbah were following the policies of the previous chairman of the board which was reason of my ouster from the team.
T20 captain Hafeez and Razzaq were at the loggerheads during the ICC World T20 Championship held in Sri Lanka in 2012 which widely reported in the media.
He recalled that he overlooked repeatedly by captain Hafeez during the World T20 in Sri Lanka last year and was only included in the team after Pakistan loss to India.
He negated the impression that he was not playing in domestic circuit to make his comeback in team.
I had played in some domestic matches including T20, a veteran 46 Test matches, claimed.
He said Misbah can represent and lead Pakistan team at age of 40 why he cannot do the same.
He was of the view that those players, who not consistent are inducted in the team But not me.
Abdul Razzaq said he wanted to serve the team but see no chance of getting a selectors nod for the West Indies tour starting from July 11.
