Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 329 suspects during last six months. This was stated by CID officials during five-day workshop on anti-terrorism at CPO. The workshop was attended by high police officials including IG Shahid Baloch, AIG-CID Iqbal Mehmood and others.
They said that some 76 gangs were busted in 57 police encounters during last six months and added that CID had recovered 1155kgs of high explosive material, 43 Kalashnikovs, 14 repeaters, 46 bombs, 282 pistols, three suicide jackets and 2104 rounds during several raids.
