Lean business on grain market

Lean business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday, dealers said. On the cereals side, barley Sindh quoted at Rs 3050, other commodities managed to hold overnight levels, dealers said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 700 while the fine variety was up by Rs 50 at Rs 750, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new gained Rs 200 at Rs 1200, they added.
Only one change was witnessed on the rice sector, where Irri-6 Sindh was down by Rs 35 to Rs 3740-3800, other items did not show any change, dealers said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and cereals sectors, they said.
