Futures spreads up by 178 basis points

The futures spreads increased by 178 basis points during the third week of new financial year 2013-14, to 11.28 percent while the trading activities could not be maintained and it witnessed lower trend as average daily volumes decreased by 21.4 percent to 20.39 million shares. The average daily trading value also registered bearish trend, with decrease of 22.8 percent, it closed at Rs 2,171 million.
