At least three alleged dacoits were killed in encounter with police in Gawaha village near Lahore on Sunday. According to the police sources, four dacoits were fleeing after committing a robbery when they came face to face with a police party near Ring Road in Gawaha village. The dacoits opened fire at the police party.
Police returned the fire and as a result three dacoits were killed while the fourth managed to escape from the scene. Police have shifted the bodies of the dacoits to dead house. The identity of the dacoits is not yet ascertained.
