Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, expressing concern over militants attack on DI Khan Central Jail, has ordered an inquiry into the mass jail-break. Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, Pervez Khattak said that immediate investigations should be made and those found guilty of negligence towards their duty should be brought to book.
He termed the assault as an intelligence failure. He said that officials responsible for security briefed him that all arrangements regarding further beefing up security have been made and attack was matter of grave concern. Khattak said that he would himself visit the DI Khan Central Jail to observe the situation. He also directed to increase the security of all jails across the province. The CM said that almost all the inmates, including 35 top militants have escaped from the prison.
