The "Center for Advanced Studies in Water" (CASW) has been established in Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, in collaboration of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and United States Agency for International Development (US AID). MUET is selected for such high level research oriented center on issues related with Water in Pakistan.
Dr Abdul Qadeer Rajput, Vice Chancellor, MUET, notified that the Center will be located at Institute of Water Resources Engineering & Management of the University. As it is notified, Professor Dr Bakhshal Khan Lashari will be the focal person for the newly established Center for Advanced Studies in Water (CASW).
